Bright Light Systems Nova XHM (High Mast) LED luminaire is specifically designed for harsh operating environments found in ports, airports, and rail yards. It offers greater performance than its HM predecessor and distributes crisp white light evenly over large areas. Consuming less than 500 watts, the Nova XHM dramatically reduces energy costs by almost 55% when compared to traditional HID lighting. Our high-brightness LED Modules are IP68 rated and come with a UV resistant, high-impact polycarbonate lens. A 100,000 hour (L70) lifetime minimizes maintenance expense and enables a simple payback of typically less than three years. Wireless control integrates with the Bright Light Management System (BLMS).

  • In order to provide the best conditions for our customers and work force, we needed to upgrade the lighting. Longshoremen have told me the new BLS lights have significantly improved working conditions, and we are all very pleased with our new lighting on the piers. The luminaires installed easily onto our existing infrastructure, and we were able to aim the light where it’s needed to eliminate dark areas. Looked at from all aspects, the upgrade has a positive effect on the environment.”
